About

I have delivered measurable success for 75+ nonprofits & small businesses nationwide by building holistic creative strategies & products that work.

I am a knowledgeable and results-oriented Senior Product Designer and UX Consultant that specializes in understanding the root problem a business is struggling with and crafting that research into a human-centered strategy. I live to see delighted clients who, after working with me, are that much closer to connecting the dots between their business’s goals and their customer’s expectations. Clients often reflect that working with me is an engaging, thorough, and enlightening experience that reinforces core principles and elicits excited participation.

I am currently a Senior Product Designer at HubSpot, where I lead product design efforts for HubSpot's payment links product. I also do website design and UX consulting through my firm Ascent Collective.

I founded Ascent Collective in 2014 to help organizations big and small become more creative, collaborative, successful, impactful, and most important, more human. I bring 9+ years of experience understanding the why and how: why people decide to do and not do things, how users work with a product or company, and how a client might better serve their audiences. After implementing my strategy, clients see real results in both their business metrics and the happiness of the people they serve.

I am commonly referred to as a “jack-of-all-trades,” with a thorough knowledge of how analytics, SEO, qualitative and quantitative research studies, usability testing, design, development, and marketing all play into user experience and web strategy. My multidisciplinary approach allows me to create holistic campaigns that stand out in today’s digital landscape.

Prior to starting Ascent Collective, I was a Product & User Experience Designer for ATLARGE, where I created strategies and products for global organizations including the Ringling Museum, Feld Entertainment, IMG Academy, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Sun Hydraulics, and more.

I currently live in Longmont, CO, but work with companies across the country. Luckily, in today's cloud-based business world, my office can be anywhere. Across town or across the country, I'm always ready for a call, a virtual meeting, or a flight to meet you.

Outside of Ascent, I am a passionate tiny house advocate. In early 2016, my husband and I built with our own perseverance an off-grid home out of a school bus. This project gifted us which the realization that you can truly do anything you put your mind to. We use social media to promote the importance of tiny lifestyles and sustainability. We love to inspire and encourage others to build their own home. You can find out more about our bus at adventureorbust.com.
